Back-To-School Info

August 1, 2025
Dear LSE Students and Families,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year. Middle school is an exciting adventure and we are eager to welcome your student to Laura Speed Elliott Middle School. The LSE faculty and staff are committed to ensuring all our students receive a quality education to become responsible individuals, competent workers, and contributing citizens. Below you will find important information regarding the start of the school year

Annual Information Update/District Enrollment
All families should complete the online enrollment through Infinite Campus before back-to-school night and receiving your student’s class schedule.

Boonville Schools are Using ParentSquare
Boonville Schools have added a new communication tool that replaces our previous SchoolMessenger website and emergency communications platform. Feel free to log in anytime to familiarize yourself using the primary email address you have listed in Infinite Campus.

Immunization Requirements
The State of Missouri sets and requires an immunization schedule for all students in public schools. As we prepare for the start of the new school year, we encourage families to review the immunization requirements and ensure their child’s vaccines are up-to-date. Immunizations can be updated at a regular check-up or through the Cooper County Public Health Center. The Cooper County Health Department will be on site during registration on August 13 from 2:00–7:00 PM to provide MCV and TDaP vaccines to 8th-grade students who are missing these immunizations.

Bus Transportation
If your student(s) will need bus transportation for the 2025-26 school year, be sure to complete the school district's annual online registration in Infinite Campus by August 8. If you miss the deadline, contact the bus barn directly for assistance (660-882-7421)
